As a professionally trained historian with a PhD in the History of Science from Harvard University, Dr. Turner has proven experience working with a wide range of historical materials, including archival holdings, cultural ephemera, films, government documents, historical scientific literature, and oral histories. Ready to get started? Just reach out with an inquiry detailing what kind of work you’re interested in, where you are in your own research process, and a preferred timeline and budget for the work. If the project seems feasible and our availabilities align, we will follow up to schedule a one hour in-person or online consultation. If everyone agrees to move forward, Dr. Turner’s will send you a proposal. On acceptance of the proposal, we will finalize a contract so that work can proceed.
Rates are industry standard but differ depending on the type of work requested (e.g. if travel will be involved or if the project is particularly lengthy). Please indicate if you are a student or otherwise experiencing financial hardship.
